SFB 870 - New Collaborative Research Center granted by the DFG: The Munich Center for Neurosciences of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University, together with the Technical University Munich, the Max-Planck-Institute of Neurobiology Martinsried, and the Helmholtz Center Munich has attracted funding for the establishment of the SFB "Assembly and Function of Neuronal Circuits in Sensory Processing" from 2010-2013.
Amgen Scholars In 2010 again, the MCN will host the undergraduate summer research program in science and biotechnology, together with Cambridge and the Karolinska Institute. Funded by the Amgen foundation.
Lecture Series The MCN Monday lecture series continues this winter semester. Internal and external speakers address current neuroscientific topics. Presentations are held at the LMU Biocenter Martinsried. For further information see - EVENTS

Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences (GSN-LMU) |

In the framework of the German Excellence Initiative (supported by Wissenschaftsrat and Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG) the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (LMU) has founded a new Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences. (GSN-LMU). The GSN-LMU is the educational platform within the Munich Center for Neurosciences Brain & Mind, offering Master- and PhD education in systemic neurosciences.
